Our annual 2-day campout at OKC Gun Club where Scouts can work toward Rifle Shooting & Shotgun Shooting merit badges. An entire Thanksgiving feast is prepared on-site and all Scouting families are invited to attend!

Campout: Broken Bow Kayaking (Family Camp)
August: Troop family campout. Kayaking/canoeing the river, fellowship, food, and fun.
Signup closes August 2nd.
Be sure to spray clothing with permethrin, a few days before the campout so it dries.

Physical parts A & B required for all scouts and adults registered with BSA who didn’t turn one in for summer camp/backpacking this summer. Family members do not need the physical form.

Spring Court of Honor
Tonight we’ll celebrate Scout achievements at our spring Court of Honor held in the Great Hall of First Presbyterian Church of Edmond. Scouts will receive awards for merit badges and ranks earned in recent months. Parents and family members are invited to attend and we’ll have light refreshments following the ceremony.
Scouts are to wear their full Class A uniform with sash. Adults typically wear business casual to casual attire.
Monday Night Meeting: Citizenship In Society Merit Badge (One Night Only)
Mr. David Bailey is leading the Diversity In Society merit badge (Eagle required as of July, 2022) tonight. This is a one-time offering so please mark your calendar and be sure to attend. This merit badge is suitable for ALL Scouts at any rank to attend. Scouts who attend and participate in this merit badge evening will complete the requirements for this badge. Bring your Scout book, paper and pen.

Eagle Court of Honor: Grant Luster & Wyatt Barmann
The Luster and Barmann families would like to invite all Troop 78 & 6078 families to attend an Eagle Court of Honor ceremony honoring Grant Luster and Wyatt Barmann on Sunday, February 20th at 4:00pm in the Great Hall (outside the sanctuary) of First Presbyterian Church of Edmond. Scouts, please wear your full class A uniform for this event.
Parent & Committee Meeting
Parents of Scouts who are interested in summer camp (not the Weminuche, Colorado camp) as well as all Troop Committee members are asked to join us on Monday, January 31st during the regular meeting time to discuss summer camp so we can solidify plans and get a location booked quickly.

Dr. Campbell and Mrs. Luster are leading the Personal Management merit badge (Eagle required) during the first half of our Monday meetings. Bring your Scout book, the worksheet packet and a pen.
Scouts who aren't doing the merit badge will work on rank advancements with older Scouts.

Due to Covid resurging, the Troop leadership has opted out of Trappers' Rendezvous this year and has shifted our camping to Sasakwa the following weekend instead. Those attending will get to enjoy a steak dinner in the lodge so please register TODAY as we must place the order for meats.

Troop Movie Night
Our SPL has planned a celebratory movie night for all of the Scouts instead of the usual Monday night meeting. We’ll meet at FPCE like usual and watch A Christmas Story. Dress comfy, bring your own snack/drink if you'd like.
Campout: Thanksgiving Cookout & Shooting
Our annual Thanksgiving campout is open to scouts and their families. Family members may come camp with the Troop or just for the day to enjoy fellowship and the meal. This event is held at the OKC Gun Club in Arcadia and we prepare a full Thanksgiving meal on Saturday.
